Yano Consulting: About Kenji Yano
Kenji Yano started Yano Consulting in 2006 to help technology companies do business effectively in a Japanese-speaking environment. He works with a variety of businesses including software and life science companies, and also serves as instructor of Japanese language/culture at Washtenaw Community College. Previously, Yano was business unit manager at NSF International where he played a key role in developing its international chemical registration program. Yano also worked as a researcher (drug development) at TERUMO Corporation in Japan. He earned graduate degrees in Japan and the US: a PhD in Physiology from Creighton University and postdoctoral study (endocrinology) at the University of Michigan.
